The energy that comes from the sun!

Solar Thermal Energy uses a set of mirrors to focus sunlight onto a pipe and the it gets heated so the water boils into steam. The steam is then used to turn a turbine to create electricity. This idea is used within the Mojave desert and it produces electricity for 350,000 homes. The problem with Solar Thermal Energy is that it is only able to work while the sun is out, on cloudy days it will not create electricity.

More Information Regarding Solar Energy

Solar Power is a powerful source of energy, that has the potential to produce lots of energy for the world. Another great part of Solar Power is that it is an everlasting resource that is free to receive. To be used for energy, it is either turned into solar thermal energy or converted from light into electricity.

Solar power can really help save money and energy by just heating the home's water. The United States spends more than $13 billion-a-year on energy for home water heating and it accounts for about one-fourth of the total energy used in a single-family home. Though by getting a system installed you are able to take a government deduction on it.
